File: savingfiles_C4.txt Last updated: Sunday 6th September 2009, 14:04 PT, AD ----------------------------------------------- Transfering files from C:\temp to the C4 System ----------------------------------------------- Log in to the C4 system: https://secure.coquitlamcollege.com/ If you don't have a login for your course on the C4 system, go here: http://www.annedawson.net/C4_Join.txt In the first two weeks of the course, you can enter any CSCI course by clicking on the "Login as Guest" button on the C4 Login page, and enrol on the course by clicking on the "Enrol me on this course" link on the C4 course main page. After the second week of the semester, you will need an enrolment key from the instructor to join the course. ------------------------------------------------------------- Go to your CSCI course on C4. Search for the current week on the C4 course main page. Click on the link to the assignment. You may need to scroll down the page to see the text box and button for submitting a file. Follow the instructions on C4. NOTE: For some assignments, you can only submit one file to C4, other assignments allow you to submit more than one file. If your files are large, you may need to compress them into a single compressed (zipped) file before submission. A link to a free compression tool is shown on the resources for your course in C4. Resubmitting a file to C4 ************************* You may resubmit your files as often as you wish before the assignment's "Due date". The old file is simply overwritten by the new one. To zip a group of files: ************************ On a Coquitlam College computer, select all files to be zipped, right click on the mouse, and select: "Add to zip" - enter a path (C:\temp) and filename for your zip file.
