Most courses at Coquitlam College are classroom based, but some operate by distance education... Students in distance education courses (e.g. CSCI110D, CSCI120D and CSCI165D) will meet the instructor in person or online in week 1 or week 2 of the course. Thereafter, students need only attend the college for exams. Students study and work on assignments at any time at their convenience. All assignments are issued and submitted online on the College's C4 system. Communication with the instructor and other course participants is by C4 message, Skype, gmail or chat. Skype and chat are scheduled at regular office hours each week. Office hours are posted on C4. Emails are answered usually the same day. There are, of course, in-college office hours and distance education students are encouraged to see the instructor in person for additional help. The instructor's schedule can always be found at this address: http://www.annedawson.net/InstructorsSchedule.html Questions? email: anne.dawson@gmail.com skype: anne.dawson.skype Computer Science Departmental Office (opposite Room 1, next to the student printer) *************************************************************
