How to use EditPad Lite

Download and install EditPad Lite:
http://www.editpadpro.com/editpadlite.html
Test that EditPad is working correctly on your machine
by following these simple instructions:
Start up EditPad (click on the Start button on the desktop, and select EditPad from Programs).
Select "File" -> "Save As..." and then select the folder to save your file to.
Note: If you're creating a file from a Coquitlam College lab machine,
you need to save to the C:\temp folder.
In the File name: textbox, type in: first.html
Your file will be saved in your chosen folder with a file name of: first.html
Type in the following text ***exactly*** as shown here:
The Year of the Dog
The Year of the Dog
by Anne H. Dawson Cert.Ed.,B.Sc.(Hons),M.Sc.,Ph.D.
Now select "File" -> "Save All"
The latest version of your file is now saved.
You may now quit EditPad, and view your first.html file in a web browser.
This concludes the instructions to edit and save a text file.
