DESCRIPTION:
This course provides students with a fundamental overview of
computer-based information systems and their applications in business.
The course includes a discussion of the issues involved in the use of
information systems by management and provides a "hands-on" tutorial experience
in the use of microcomputers. Particular emphasis is placed on business
productivity tools which include a spreadsheet application and a
database management system. No prior computing knowledge is required.

15 credit hours in university transfer courses.
