BUSI237 students:
THE MIDTERM EXAM
================
The midterm exam is Week 8 Class 1 (Tues 30th October 2007),
in Room 6, at the regular class time.
For exam results, see below...

Unauthorised absence from the Midterm exam is an automatic fail.
****************************************************************
The midterm exam is a 90 minute written exam,
during your regular class time, in Room 6.
*** Students must bring their student cards
for inspection before the exam. ***
The midterm exam is worth 30% of the final grade.
Students must attain an overall passing grade on
the weighted average of the two exams in the course
in order to obtain a clear pass (C or better).
You should focus on the topics listed under the "Reading" column
on the course schedule
for all weeks through (from week 1) to midterm. Any changes are announced in class.
Questions will be based on the textbook readings and lab activities
(where these relate to the textbook readings).
The exam is a closed-book: no books, notes, calculators,
or any other electronic equipment are allowed during the exam.
Questions types may include: multiple choice, true-false, short answer,
and essay-type questions.
EXAM AND ASSIGNMENT RESULTS
---------------------------
The results of the online part of the midterm exam
are available on C4 immediately after the close of the exam.
All results are entered into Gradebook asap.
The instructor will see each student individually
to return written exam papers and bring grades up-to-date.
Individual oral interviews take place in the two class periods
after the midterm exam. These interviews will take place
in the Computer Science Office (opposite Room 1).
The remaining students will work in Room 1 on timed,
individual assignments.
NOTE: Assessed labs which are submitted from outside of the college campus are not graded.
Your attendance, conduct and progress are monitored throughout the course.
You may inspect your status report at any time using the online Gradebook
