There are two quizzes,
worth a total of 10% of the final grade.

The date of each quiz is announced online on the C4 system.
Quizzes take place in the college on a Tuesday or a Thursday
at 12:45 pm in Room 6 (Spring 2010 Semester).
The exact dates and times are always announced on C4.
There may be Pop Quizzes on this course. A Pop Quiz does not count
towards your final grade. Pop Quizzes may appear on C4 at any time
and are intended to help you study towards the assessed quizzes:
Quiz 1
======
Quiz 1 is on paper or online and is composed of
a number of multiple choice and true/false questions
on these topics of Chapters 1 through 3 of the course textbook.
These questions include interpretation of VB program code.
(5% of final grade, 30 minutes)
Quiz 2
======
Quiz 2 is on paper or online and is composed of
a number of multiple choice and true/false questions
on the topics of Chapters 5 through 7 of the course textbook.
Chapter 5 - Sections 1 and 2 only
Chapter 6 - Sections 1, 2 and 3 only
Chapter 7 - Sections 1 and 2 only
These questions include interpretation of VB program code.
(5% of final grade, 30 minutes)
The Final Exam

The Final Exam (40% of final grade, 90 minutes)
covers a selection of chapters of the course textbook.
Coverage of the Case Studies of each chapter is optional but recommended.

The Final Exam is immediately followed by Assessed Lab #2
(5% of final grade, 90 minutes),
where students' practical programming skills will be tested.

VB software and program files are included on the textbook CDROM.
Review your quizzes
- collect your quiz papers from the instructor, or review online quizzes on C4.
Study the summary powerpoints (created by the instructor) for each chapter.
Powerpoints are available on the Course Schedule.
Powerpoints from the textbook are available in zipped format in the course resources.
